“Taking part in the Thebe Foundation has developed me as an educator. I learned how to create space in my classroom. I had no reading corners and I was groomed by Sbhekaphi on how to design reading corners this has helped a lot since it developed learners interest for books and or reading.

I have learnt to do share reading, independent reading and group guided reading in a fun way and how to use resources while presenting lessons. Thebe workshop were so fruitful and I have learnt quiet a lot.

I entered for National Teacher Award and shared my new teaching strategies I’ve learned from Thebe and worn 3 awards for 1st position at district awards since 2019, 2021 and 2022 and 1 Awards at Provincial NTA IN 2022.” – Nomsa Masiteng
