The Programme is sponsored by Pride Milling. Its purpose is to contribute towards poverty alleviation in our communities. Since its inception in 2020, over 13,000 mealie meal bags and over 4,000 mabele bags have been distributed to over 12,400 family members in households across various communities in Kroonstad.
The support is extended to over 450 households every month, including those from Marabastad, Seeisoville, Dinuheng, Kagiso, Zuma Park, Constantia, and Gelegwaart Townships, as well as households from informal settlements within the community of Maokeng.
The Programme is sponsored by the Thebe Investment Corporation. Its purpose is to provide necessary support to a deserving organisation that serves the needs of the marginalised communities. Thebe is built on a foundation of building communities, and this is one of the ways Thebe seeks to support communities.
