Harvest Fresh – Junior Grower

I started school at Wem school Kabokweni and matriculated in 2014 at Metropolitan International College. In 2016, I attended the University of Mpumalanga for a Diploma in Plant production a three-year course which I completed in 2018.

It is during this time whilst doing my practicals at Ambrosia Citrus estate that I got offered permanent job as a farm supervisor. In 2019, I managed to secure another role at Indigo fruit farming (Letsitele) as a section supervisor which I served from 2019 till 2023 and got promoted to a section manager in 2024.

Thebe foundation had alleviated all of the financial and psychological burdens associated with pursuing my studies allowing me to focus on my studies and achieve my academic goals through check-ups and exposure to the processes associated with agriculture. The support received from the Thebe Foundation contributed to our studies – had not only eased our financial, emotional worries but also motivated me to work harder and provided.
